Hot Head by Damon Suede

Hot Head (Head #1) - Damon Suede

"I‘m not gonna let you hurt yourself anymore. I‘m not gonna let you be lonely or hurt or afraid. Ungh. Mmmph. Every part of you is mine, D. Beautiful and ugly."

HOT HEAD was my first M/M book and it was okay and all for my first introduction into M/M Romance, but it didn't quite blow me away like I expected it to. I just didn't really connect to the book as much as a lot of other readers did. I am saddened by that! But I still think it was pretty great!

"You remember the night I came to the station and kissed you? I do. "―You hit your head and you‘re not thinking straight." Griff tried to get up, but Dante squeezed him hard with his thighs. "I am definitely not thinking straight, man." Dante laughed.

Two NYC firefighters have been friends forever and they have been through everything together. But Griff has a thing for Dante and he doesn't really know how to deal with those feelings yet. I guess dealing with it might involve HotHead.com, a gay-porn website where uniformed hunks get down-n-dirty! HOT HEAD was HOT and SMEXY! I enjoyed the smexy sex!

"This", Dante gestured at him, at the mussed red sheets, and the day dawning outside. "This wasn‘t just messing around for me. I‘m already jealous as hell of the way folks look at you. After this, I sure as hell don‘t want to share you with anyone." His possessive tone was fierce and startling.

At times the book was very emotional and I love the relationship between Griff and Dante. It is like they would do anything for each other and I love that aspect of it. I Love best buds turned lovers! That's my favorite theme of M/M Romance! Something about that makes it even more hot than the fact that they're both men! Overall, HOT HEAD was a pretty good first M/M book, but it did not quite blow me away. I'll say the sex definitely blew me away though! Yummy!
